…As you will recall we installed one of your units on a large air handler motor along with the recording meter several years ago for testing purposes. The data obtained was instrumental in making major electrical new construction design changes which has since saved the organization many thousands of dollars on an annual basis.
A consumer should easily save 10 to 12 percent of their electrical cost per unit on a monthly basis over an extended period of time by having your unit installed.

Our electric consumption speaks for itself. We have been saving 15% on our three main A/C units which are five tons each. During the spring, summer and fall these units run 12 to 18 hours a day. On our pool pumps (4 at one horsepower each) we are saving 10% in electricity. That 10% saving occurs 24 hours a day.
In addition it’s comforting to have surge protection on these expensive compressors and motors.
Thank you for introducing us to your product and I would recommend this device to anyone concerned with saving money on their electric bill.

Centex Homes (Southeast Florida Division) has recently installed the KVAR energy saving device (inductive equipment energy saving unit) on our Emerald Bay Model at our premier community in Wellington, Florida. Our decision to install the KVAR unit was based on a need to reduce power consumption at our model.
I was present at the installation which took a total of fifteen (15) minutes. Although not required, our electrical contractor installed the KVAR unit. We conducted a timed test of the revolutions of the FP&L electric meter and found, after a few mathematical calculations, that a reduction in power consumption was at six (6) percent. This is a significant savings when you consider that our model air conditioners run twenty four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week at a lower cooling temperature than a typical residential housing.
At present, we are sizing a unit to be installed at our Corporate Headquarters in West Palm Beach, Florida and we will be installing additional KVAR units in our remaining models throughout Martin, Palm Beach, Broward and Dade Counties. Savings of a minimum of six (6) percent per model at over twenty five (25) models does represent a cost saving opportunity to Centex Homes.

The electric company (BG&E of Maryland) has lowered my budget billing amount from $354 to $320 per month starting in September. I must admit, I was a bit skeptical about your product, as an electrical engineer friend introduced me to PFCD a few months ago...
While I was testing the unit, I had my friends present. I tested the product on the load side, and I found no difference in the amperage draw to my A/C unit on the circuit conductors directly from the breaker to it. At first, I was disgruntled. After settling down and thinking about what I had just done, I realized my error and clamped my Fluke meter on the mains directly behind the meter registering current draw at the line side of the load center....and BINGO!!!! On start up, the A/C unit went up to 91 amps and leveled out at 13 without the PFCD 1200 on. When the PFCD unit was engaged it was a draw of 35 amps and leveled out at 8.75. That pretty much blew everyone away! After that, I tested everything with a motor load in my house. I was astonished at the significant reduction in amperage.I have had, in addition, a lot of customers complaining of bad power spikes, sags, and all kinds of irregularities from their utilities which could benefit from the unit.

Just a quick note to let you know how shocked I was to find that your PFCD 1200, is everything you said it was and more. I had the unit installed on a disconnect switch so I could check the actual power usage with and without the PFCD 1200 in service. I am cooling 2800 sq. ft. with seven tons of A/C Heat Pump equipment. We observed an immediate drop of 6 amps. under an approximant 50% load. This represents a 16% savings. Extrapolation tells me if I use this equipment 60% of the time, I will save $42.00 each month. Which gives me a payout in 7.5 months and then pure savings? Please keep in mind that this is the savings attributed to the Heat and Cooling under Aprox 50% loaded equipment only. As the summer wears on and the load to increase, I expect the savings to grow. Please keep me informed of any further improvement or additional equipment that addresses the power reduction solutions.

I went from an average daily usage of 80 kWh to 55 kWh, and my bill went from $172.80 to $117.32! With this savings my PFCD 1200 will pay for itself in 6 months.

My PFCD was installed on 8/4/06. I get an electric bill with a meter reading every two months, the first of which after the PS installation was on 9/20. It showed 456 KWH for 30 days, average daily cost (adc) $1.18 compared to 577 for 32 days, adc $1.31 in the same period, 2005. The next reading was on 11/21 and showed 246 KWH for 33 days, adc $0.65 compared to 463 for 30 days, adc $1.16 in the same period, 2005. My most recent meter reading was on 1/22/07 showing 284 KWH for 33 days, adc $0.73 compared to 805 for 35 days, adc $1.64 for the same period in 2006. The average monthly usage on my July, 2006 bill was 518 KWH compared to 457 KWH in the Jan. ’07 bill. The PFCD is living up to its advertising.
